The Team Member section of the myY Resource Hub is the place to go for all team members at the Y NSW to learn how to use myY.
It provides videos and instructions that educate our people on how to complete actions and tasks in myY.
The interactive Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) are designed to support you as you learn to navigate and use myY. The QRGs include video tutorials, step-by-step instructions, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).

First Day at the Y
We want every day to be a great experience at the Y, especially your first one.
To set you up for success in your new role, make sure you take the time to review the Y NSW Induction Guide found on your myY home page. It's full of great information about our history, the organisation, what to expect in your new role and how we develop great connections with our customers every day.
As a new team member, your login details for myY will be sent to your Y NSW corporate email account, which you will have access to on your first day.
If you do not recieve your myY login details on day one, have your manager raise a ticket on the Service Desk and select Sign-On Issues as the Service Desk ticket sub-category.
Is my Personal Information Public?
As a team member, the following non-sensitive information is visible to the entire Y NSW organisation:
However, sensitive personal information such as your address, bank details, and tax information is not visible in the Org Chart, or to your team members.
Updating Personal Information
Updates to personal information, contact information, address, emergency contacts & dependents can be made by following these steps:

To update your personal email address, click here to send the personal email change request to the my-Y inbox. The People and Culture team will pick this up and make the amendment within a few business days.
How do I Update Bank Account/Tax/Superannuation details?
To update your bank account information:
Your new bank details will be sent to the Payroll team via myY for a final review.
Once reviewed, if accurate, they will be visible in myY.
In the circumstance the Payroll team need to amend any of the bank details, an email notification will be sent back to the team member requesting they approve the amendments in myY.
To update tax details such as Tax-Free Threshold or Higher Education Loan Program (HELP):
From your myY home page, click the My Profile tile
Click the Personal Information tab on the summary banner and then click the pen icon next to the header Personal Information
From the Personal Information view, click the Show 5 more fields button
Update the tax information that requires amendment and click Save
To provide your Tax File Number:
Team members who commence at the Y without a Tax File Number (TFN), an incorrect TFN, or who are under 18 and do not require a TFN, will at some stage in their time at the Y, need to update this information.

To change your Superannuation details, please click here to download the required form for completion.
Once you have completed and signed the Superannuation Declaration, please click here to email the form to our Payroll team. Ensure you attach the signed document.
My WWCC is Expiring Soon. What do I do?
It is a requirement for all team members at the Y NSW to hold a valid WWCC.
Once you have confirmation of renewal, please email the confirmation to the People and Culture team (copy in your manager) who will update this information within myY and Riteq.

My Visa/Right to Work is About to Expire or Change. What do I do?
Team members who are not a citizen or permanent resident of Australia/New Zealand, are required to hold a valid visa with rights to work in Australia. Proof of this will be captured during your Onboarding and added to myY prior to your first day.
Throughout the duration of your employment, it is the responsibility of all team members to ensure any changes to your visa or working rights are provided to your manager as soon as possible. Once provided, this information will be updated in myY by the People and Culture team.
To check that myY holds the most up-to-date information - within your myY personal information, scroll to the National ID and Work Permit section and review Work Permit Info.
I am Turning 16. Do I need a Police Check?
Yes, you do. All team members over the age of 16 years, inclusive of volunteers, are required to have a Police Check completed.
30 days before you turn 16, you will be contacted by a member of the People and Culture Team who will support you through this process.
Riteq - the Y's Time & Attendance System
Rosters, time and attendance, and leave approval are not managed through myY. For this we utilise Riteq.
You can view your current roster on any PC or smart device through Riteq.

If you have any additional queries regarding your roster in Riteq, you should contact your manager or Workforce Planner.
You will sign in/out with your fingerprint at your site via the Riteq Kiosk. (This will be different for Support Services team members - please speak with your manager)
If you have any additional queries regarding logging your time and attendance, please contact your manager.
Parental Leave Request
When you need to go on Parental Leave, the People and Culture team need to be notified as soon as possible of your intended leave and return dates.
You can do that by completing the form available here and provide this to your manager. Your manager should then click here to email the People and Culture team.
Essential Qualifications and Learning
To View all of myY Learning - including access to upload Essential Qualifications - once in the Learning page, select the Toggle on the right of screen next to "New Learning Experience".
My Y Essentials are items that are assigned to you as part of a curriculum and form part of your mandatory learning. These include mandatory training as per Y NSW policy and procedure (online or face-to-face) and Essential Qualifications for your role at the Y.
It is important that these are completed/uploaded and kept up to date in myY.

Viewing Learning Assignments & Learning History
You can view the status of your learning assignments at any time from the myY Learning portal.

The Learning History tile on your myY Learning page provides you with access to your full learning transcript. This is not a report, but an active list of historical records allowimng access to uploaded Essential Qualification certificates, and online learning completion certificates.
Your Learning History is automatically updated when you complete any courses or record a qualification. Click here for 2024 updated information on accessing your Learning History.
Completing Learning Assignments
All Y NSW team members are able to complete online learning from their myY Learning portal.
When learning has been assigned to you, it will appear as a task on the Take Courses tile on your home page.

Register or Withdraw from Training
As a team member, you can browse, register and withdraw from any online, webinar or instructor-led (face-to-face) course from the myY Learning portal.

You can also withdraw from any self-assigned instructor-led face-to-face courses up to 24 hours before the course commences.
To withdraw from a registered class:
The withdrawal will be automatically confirmed in mY and you will receive an email confirmation of your withdrawal from the course. You will also receive an updated Outlook calendar invitation to remove the item from your calendar.
